Let's start using the DDR StepEditor!
First select an area.
Then, choose the series that includes the song in which you want to edit.
Next, select the song that you would like to edit.
When creating new edit data, it is possible to transfer the official Konami step sequences for reference.
Please read the agreement and click the checkbox if you agree. Click the Edit START button to start your edit.
Locate your mouse pointer to the position that you want to set the arrow and click.
To delete an arrow, click the placed arrow.
To implement a freeze arrow, position the mouse pointer to the location desired and click.
Drag the arrow to adjust the length.
Zoom to position arrows over a smaller interval.
Zooming will expand the work area and will allow you to locate arrows in places you couldn't before.
Click the TRIPLE button to turn the "TRIPLE ON", this will allow you to set arrows at positions 1/12 of a measure.
Also, you can only place triplet arrows when an area is marked in green.
By hitting the play button, the music will play along with the sequence. Check if the arrows are positioned right here.
Click on the number of the measure to set the playback area.
When the editing is completed, select the Difficulty Leve., Foot Rating, comments and save your data by pushing the SAVE button.
